Geban Bay is located in the area from Geban in the west to Wugui Cave (Black Dwarf Cave), and is a beautiful white shell sand beach. It has the beautiful reputation of "Taiwan's version of Venice Beach" and stretches for approximately one hundred meters long. The coastline is beautiful, making it extremely suitable for walking barefoot, listening to the waves, and watching the sunset. Some people also call this place "Venice Beach". The coastal terrain of Liuchiu Island is mainly composed of coral reef shores, with only a few sandy shores belonging to depositional landforms, among which the largest in scale is this Geban Bay Beach. Due to its special geographical location, a vast intertidal zone is exposed at low tide, nurturing rich marine organisms, making it a good place to observe intertidal ecology.
